You do not need to be affiliated with any church to participate and benefit. Every faith has some form of contemplative practice, and many who are un-churched are yet hungry for contact with what they sense the Divine to be. Centering Prayer is a gentle, silent method of consenting to God’s presence and healing action within us.
Presenter Jeff Mitchell is pastor of the Good Samaritan Community Covenant Church in Valley Springs. He is trained in Contemplative Outreach.
No fee to attend—all welcome! Donations gratefully accepted (suggested $20 covers costs of morning) Registration not required, but to assist our planning, prior contact will be helpful.
